FAQ

  • What is the difference between therapy and coaching?

Therapy is all about your overall well-being and mental health, while coaching is more focused on tackling specific problems with an action-oriented approach.

Therapy is flexible in terms of time, whereas coaching works within a set period (like 3 or 6 months).

Another key difference is education: coaches can come from various backgrounds, while therapists require formal training and degrees. Lucky for you, I'm trained in both! As a therapist, I use evidence-based methods to create coaching programs that help you reach your goals.

Lastly, coaching emphasizes collaboration, with the coach and client working together to develop the perfect action plan. Therapy, on the other hand, has stricter boundaries and is less collaborative.

  • What product or service works best for me?

We have something for everyone, tailored to fit your goals, time, investment, and level of support desired. Our "Sleepless Nights: A Guided Journal for New Moms" is a great starting point for deep introspection at a smaller investment.

For those who prefer flexibility and a comprehensive education, "The Postpartum Playbook" e-course is packed with valuable information and resources to ensure you have the best postpartum experience possible, all at your own pace.

If you want a highly collaborative experience, our 1:1 coaching provides a completely customized goal plan with ongoing, interactive support from me.

For those seeking a transformative experience, our retreats offer intensive self-care, goal-setting, and a supportive community. While it's a bigger investment upfront, the powerful and profound results speak for themselves.

  • Will second-time, third-time+ parents benefit from these programs?

Yes! No matter how many children you already have, each pregnancy and child is unique, and these services will provide valuable benefits and support for you and your growing family.

Plus, as your family expands, these programs can offer guidance and assistance in navigating the changes and dynamics that come with each new addition.

  • How frequently are 1:1 coaching sessions held?

We can tailor the sessions to your unique needs. The meetings can be as often as a few times a week or as little as once a month. The price will vary based on the frequency of the meetings, but we are flexible to ensure you receive the best support possible.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! We value accessibility, which is why we offer payment plans for our higher-priced items.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is 24 hours for therapy and coaching services. If you fail to cancel your appointments with at least 24 hours notice you will be charged the full price of the appointment.

  • When are you available?

Appointments are offered online and in person Monday through Thursday each week between the hours of 10am and 6pm.

  • My doctor prescribed me medication to help with my depression or anxiety. Will I still benefit from counseling or coaching?

Yes! From a mental health standpoint medication typically works best in conjunction with therapy or coaching.

  • How often should we meet?

While every client is treated based on their unique needs, many clients come in weekly and biweekly.

  • Do you take my insurance?

I am considered an “out of network provider” by all insurance companies. This means payment is due at the time of service and I will provide you with a Superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
